Have you been booked for a photoshoot & already prepared your equipment, but when arriving at the location you find out the weather is not suitable for your photoshoot? You can either use to your advantage or combat it by using the following tips!
1) It's raining! You have no cover for your equipment and the model's outfit or your props might get wet.
Camera Rain Sleeve:

One of the ways to protect your camera is by using a rain sleeve. It is wrapped around the body and the lens of the camera to avoid rain. Another alternative is using an umbrella! However, this option is considered better by most Photographers because it covers the front of the camera lens's from rain drops.
Price: $7.99 or $15.99
Where: Henry's or Amazon
On the contrary, rain is not always bad. You can use it to your advantage by making a scenic photo. The rain enhances lights at night and improves the bokeh effect as shown in the photos below. To get a better view of the rain drops, alter your angle from a low or close up point of view. In addition, the reflection from the rain acts as the perfect element for a "WOW" factor also seen in the image below. Many Street Photographers use this technique as the rain highlights the lights and buildings of the city.

2) Too much snow!

You or the model's outfit may not be suitable for the cold weather. The equipment may be vulnerable to being frozen such as the camera's shutter. If the Photographer is cold, the photo may be shaky even when shutter speed is on. Even when wearing gloves, the shutter button maybe be slippery from the glove.
One of the little things Photographers are unaware of are hand warmers. They are a packet that is applied inside your gloves. It applies heat and allows for the photograph not to be shaky.
Price: $7.99 - $26
Where: Amazon, Henry's
However, the glove itself can be the problem as it is slippery. As a result, sticky gloves are used. It allows a better grip of the camera and button. Stability in a photo allows for a sharp and clean shot.
Price: Around $15-$30 for a pair.
Where: These gloves can be found anywhere.
3) It's Windy Out Here!

Of course other than using it to your advantage as the photograph above, it can be distracting and difficult to capture a clear shot. The clothes or model's hair may be moving in ways that does not suit the vibe or style of the Photographer.
Firstly, change your camera settings, ISO, or aperture. The most significant of all is adding a neutral density filter that blocks some light and allows for a clearer picture.
Another simple technique is putting your subject next to an object that stop the wind direction. For example, if the wind is coming from the the left side of the model, you can even use a person to stand on the left side to block some wind.
